Two days devoted to the preserving of all kinds of foods, from fish to fruit, we can show you inventive ways of extending the life of your foraged or homegrown produce.
Methods of preserving cover: wines, pickles, vinegars, salting, smoking, dehydrating. Everything you will need to get your food to last as long as possible through the winter months.
Learn the very basic techniques you can easily apply in your home kitchen or wild bender in the woods. Maximise on your foraging and make your seasonal delectables add nourishment all year round. Some foods even develop more intense flavours so you can make them go further.
Day 1 covers Game and Fish.
Day 2 covers Vegetables and Fruit .
These are two intense days packed full of great information, come along for the day of your choosing or come both days. We have superb places to stay nearby or you could wild camp here, just bring what you need and let us know you’d like to stay on location.
